John Fernandez Interiors

John Fernandez’s portfolio showcases a history of interiors ranging from traditional European design to clean contemporary. The Cuban born designer honed his craft in New Orleans, where he began his career at a high end furniture store in the French Quarter. His published work, both national and local, caught the eye of clients who commissioned him to work on projects throughout the U.S. and abroad. These commissions led him to design homes in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Palm Springs, San Francisco, Jackson Hole, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Miami, Nantucket, and puerto Vallarta Mexico.

 
John has an intuitive ability to understand what the client wishes to achieve, and then relies on his talent to interpret it, design it, and deliver it. “The home needs to be a reflection of the resident, not the designer” says John. Currently working on project number 10 for a long time client, John reflects on the fact that every one of his clients homes has been completely different. From dark and sexy, to light and serene, every project is an opportunity to create a new story. “Cant wait for the next chapter”!
